T’puram: A 32-year-old man was found dead at a bathing ghat in Chittar, Kilimanoor, on Sunday evening. The deceased was identified as Ajeesh of Manjappara in Kilimanoor.According to the police, Ajeesh had gone to bathe at the ghat when the incident occurred. Locals found him dead at the ghat in the evening and immediately alerted Kilimanoor Police.After completing the inquest, the police shifted the body to the mortuary of Kadakkal taluk hospital for autopsy.Preliminary information suggested that Ajeesh was suffering from epilepsy. The police suspect that he may have suffered an epileptic seizure while bathing, causing him to drown. However, the exact circumstances leading to his death are yet to be established, and the postmortem findings are expected to help determine the cause of death.The police have registered a case under the provisions relating to unnatural death and launched an investigation into the incident.
