Mumbai: Lilavati Hospital and Research Centre has launched the Da Vinci Xi Surgical Robot System, to advance surgical capabilities.
The system will enable doctors to perform complex surgeries with increased precision and flexibility across various specialities such as urology, gynaecology, gastrointestinal, oncological, thoracic and general surgeries, the Mumbai based hospital said.
It added that the Da Vinci surgical system provides an advanced set of instruments to surgeons for performing robotic assisted minimally invasive surgery resulting in minimal scars and rapid recovery due to high technology and small incisions.
