Srinagar : General Secretary JKNC and MLA Khanyar, Advocate Ali Mohammad Sagar, today inaugurated developmental works worth Rs 2.78 crore in his Khanyar constituency. MLA Hazratbal Salman Ali Sagar accompanied him on the occasion.
The works include nearly Rs 1.68 crore for upgradation and beautification, construction of culverts and drains, water chambers, and development of footpaths from Dalgate to Brane and Nishat.
A new block for NTPHC at Theed, amounting to Rs 40 lakh, was also included among the works. Additionally, bridge and road development works at Theed, Mulnar and Harwan, worth Rs 70 lakh, form part of the developmental projects.
Locals expressed happiness over the response to the developmental deficit that these areas had faced for decades and credited the veteran leader for his vigorous efforts towards addressing their long-pending developmental needs.
