Ahmedabad: A man died after he was allegedly stabbed in the chest by a juvenile during a fight over the closing of a house gate in Ahmedabad, police said.According to a complaint registered with Narol police, the incident began when the complainant visited his cousin and the latter’s wife at their residence. An argument broke out between the complainant and another man over the house gate. The accused allegedly abused him, escalating the disagreement into a heated exchange.The complainant later left the spot with his nephew. He returned with his brother-in-law to collect his vehicle, but another argument broke out over the same issue, the complaint stated.The accused and a juvenile, who was reportedly related to the victim, allegedly confronted the complainant and his brother-in-law. During the altercation, the juvenile allegedly pulled out a knife and stabbed the victim in the chest.The injured man was rushed to a hospital, where he died while undergoing treatment.Narol police have registered a case in connection with the assault and are investigating the circumstances that led to the dispute. The role of the adult accused and the juvenile is being examined, police said.
