Role Overview: The Temporary Shipping & Logistics Coordinator supports WWAKE’s logistics operations during our busiest seasons. Reporting to the E-comm Manager and Inventory & Logistics Specialist, this role is responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate fulfillment of both web and wholesale orders. The ideal candidate is reliable, highly organized, and thrives in a fast-paced environment with a keen attention to detail. This temporary role will be active from November 11th, 2026, to December 23rd, 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
Order Fulfillment & Shipping Coordination:
- Accurately pick, pack, and prepare all outgoing orders with care and efficiency
- Ensure all packages meet WWAKE’s presentation standards and shipping timelines
- Track shipments and confirm delivery when needed
- Coordinate with carriers (UPS, FedEx) to ensure timely pickups and deliveries
- Communicate any shipping delays, inventory issues, or packaging needs to the Inventory & Logistics Specialist and E-comm Manager
Inventory & Packaging Support:
- Monitor and restock packaging supplies, flagging any low-stock items in advance
- Maintain an organized and clean shipping station
- Support basic inventory tasks as needed, including counts or audits during high-volume periods
Internal Communication & Operational Support:
- Collaborate with the Logistics and E-Comm teams to prioritize daily tasks and shipping needs
- Follow and help refine shipping and packaging processes to ensure consistency and accuracy
- Support the team with flexibility, especially during holiday surges or time-sensitive projects
Qualifications:
- 1+ year of experience in a shipping, logistics, or administrative role
- Must be able to work up to 40 hours per week.
- Excellent organizational skills and close attention to detail
- Strong verbal communication and a collaborative mindset
- Self-starter who is dependable and responsive under pressure
- Familiarity with Pirate Ship is a plus
- Ability to lift and move boxes up to 40 lbs
Compensation & Benefits:
- $25 per hour
- Accrued paid sick leave
