Prayagraj: Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has announced the recruitment for 5,165 posts under the non-technical popular categories (NTPC), offering opportunities for both graduates and Class 12-pass candidates.Of the total vacancies, 3,477 are for graduate-level posts, including station master, goods train manager and senior clerk, among others. Online applications for these posts will be accepted from Oct 8 to Nov 6 through the official RRB portal.The remaining 1,688 vacancies are for undergraduate-level posts, including commercial-cum-ticket clerk, train clerk, junior clerk-cum-typist and accounts clerk-cum-typist. Applications for these posts can be submitted from Oct 15 to Nov 13.For undergraduate posts, candidates from the general, OBC and EWS categories must have secured at least 50% marks in Class 12. Passing the examination is sufficient for SC, ST and persons with disabilities, as specified in the recruitment criteria.Candidates applying for typist posts must have a typing speed of 30 words per minute in English or 25 words per minute in Hindi. The prescribed age limit is 18 to 30 years, subject to applicable relaxations.The application fee is Rs 500 for general category candidates and Rs 250 for other specified categories.
