Vadodara: Panic gripped workers at a food processing factory in Barola village of Kaalol taluka in Panchmahal district after a crocodile entered the premises late on Friday night.The crocodile entered the premises of Flapino Foods Pvt Ltd, where some workers were sleeping. They heard a sudden noise and switched on a motorcycle’s headlights to check, only to find the large reptile nearby.The workers alerted the company’s owner, who informed the Vejalpur forest department. A forest department team reached the premises and launched a rescue operation with the assistance of the animal welfare team of SF Nature Singh Foundation.The crocodile was safely rescued without any injury to the reptile or workers. The operation brought relief to the employees and local residents who had gathered at the spot. The food manufacturing facility is located around 500 metres from the Goma river, from where the crocodile is believed to have entered.
