Jaipur: The state govt Saturday transferred 14 IPS officers, replacing senior officers in Jaipur’s crime, traffic and law-and-order wings besides making changes in several districts.Additional commissioner of police (crime) Ajay Singh has been transferred as additional commissioner of police (law and order), replacing Rajeev Pachar, who has been moved to the personnel branch at police headquarters. DIG (ACB) Rameshwar Singh will replace Ajay as additional commissioner (crime).DCP (traffic) Yogesh Goyal has been transferred as DCP (crime branch), replacing Sanjeev Nain, who has been appointed Sikar SP. Praveen Nayak Nunavath, who was serving as Sikar SP, will take over as DCP (traffic) in Jaipur.Piyush Dixit, who was serving as Dausa SP, has been transferred to ACB in Jaipur. Kundan Kanwariya has been appointed the new Dausa SP.Ajay Singh Rathore has been appointed Sirohi SP, while Aditya Kakde will take over as Phalodi SP.BOX –UNEDITEDDotasra questions transfers of officers in Shekhawati, Dausa, SirohiJaipur: Rajasthan Congress president Govind Singh Dotasra on Saturday questioned the transfer of police and administrative officers in Sikar, Khatushyamji, Dausa and Sirohi and, alleging that officials who refused to help the BJP during the recent civic elections were being targeted.In a post on X, Dotasra referred to the transfer of the Sikar SP, Khatushyamji SDM, deputy and CI, along with other officials associated with the election process. He said the Rajasthan High Court’s intervention had cleared the way for counting of 19 votes cast in the Khatushyamji municipal election on September 21, after which Congress won the election.Dotasra alleged that the transfers were linked to the officials’ refusal to cooperate in what he described as an attempt to “steal councillors” during the civic elections.He also claimed that the SPs of Sikar, Dausa and Sirohi were transferred around the announcement of the Panchayati Raj elections.
