Announcing the initiative in a post on X, Gandhi said people across the country were “fighting for their rights” but were often doing so alone.
He said the Satyagraha initiative would bring these voices together “on one map”.
“‘Satyagraha’ is an initiative to bring these voices together on one map,” Rahul Gandhi said.
“Bapu taught us that truth is our greatest weapon. But an even greater weapon is standing together with the truth,” he added.
Gandhi invited people who said they were fighting against injustice to submit their stories through a website linked to the initiative.

“You’ll see who else, like you, is fighting their own battle,” Gandhi said.
‘We want to help organise these protests’
In a video accompanying the post, Gandhi said the initiative was intended to bring together protests taking place across the country.
“Namaskar, as you all know, truth is being suppressed all across the country. There are multiple protests happening across the country,” he said.
He listed protests over land, women’s rights, Dalit rights, OBC rights, education and examinations.
“Protests about land, protests about women’s rights, protests about dalit rights, OBC rights, protests for education, protests about exams, and we want to help organise these protests, put them together on one map, and work together with you, to see if we can help you resolve what you are fighting,” Gandhi said.
He asked people to enrol their movements on the website.

“Take a look at the Satagra website, fill the form, enrol your movement into the website, and we will try and see how we can support you. We’ll be in touch,” he said.
Gandhi says he will support protesters
Gandhi also said he would support people involved in such movements in his capacity as Leader of the Opposition.
“And I will do whatever I can – in Parliament, on the streets, through letters, wherever I am needed – to stand with you. As the Leader of the Opposition, that is my responsibility,” he said in his post.
In the video, he said helping people resist what he described as suppression of truth was part of his responsibility.
“As leader of opposition, it’s important for me to help people resist where truth is being crushed,” Gandhi said.
“The truth is important. It’s important at the highest levels, but it’s important that we fight for it in every corner of the country. Thank you,” he added.
Gandhi directed people to the Satyagraha website to submit their stories and enrol their movements.
