Times News NetworkKanpur: Around 350 shuttlers from various districts of the state will participate in Late Sitaram Pandey memorial state senior badminton tournament slated to be held here under the aegis of Kanpur Badminton Association at Green Park Indoor Hall from Oct 1 to 4.According to KBA secretary D P Singh, the championship will be organised in five events: men’s and women’s singles and doubles, and mixed doubles. The organisers have announced a cash prize of Rs one lakh which will be disbursed among winners and runners-up. The winner would get a cash prize of Rs 10,000 while the runner-up would receive Rs 8,000.
