Udupi: The bodies of a man and a woman were found hanging near the Sowparnika river at Charsal in Golihole village, within the limits of Byndoor police station, on Tuesday. SP Hariram Shankar said that the deceased were identified as Vittal Naik, 35, and Bhavya alias Nishmitha, 33, who were accused in a case registered at Kollur police station on Sept 11.They had allegedly attempted to kill Naik’s wife by administering unidentified injections. The case was registered under Sections 123 and 109 read with Section 3(5) of the BNS. Police said Bhavya was allegedly in a relationship with Naik. It seems that they have committed suicide a few days ago, SP said. The exact cause of death is yet to be ascertained
