PALANPUR: Two young men were killed and another seriously injured after their Range Rover travelling from Rajkot towards Rajasthan, met with a fatal accident on the Bharatmala Highway near Tharad early on September 27.The accident took place near Malpur on the Tharad-Deesa Highway when a stray bull suddenly came onto the road. The Range Rover struck the animal and then rammed into the highway divider. The collision was so intense that debris from the vehicle and body remains were strewn across the road.The SUV was registered in Rajkot.Locals who reached the spot alerted the 108 emergency ambulance service. Two of the three occupants died at the spot, while the injured man was initially taken for treatment and later shifted to Ahmedabad.One of the deceased was from Amreli and the other from Rajkot. Their bodies were taken to Tharad Civil Hospital for post-mortem.
