Mumbai: Mumbai Congress president and MP Varsha Gaikwad will lead a delegation of MPs, MLAs and corporators to meet BMC commissioner Ashwini Bhide on Monday, Sept 28, over the civic body’s decision to demolish around 39,000 slum structures measuring 14 feet or more in height.Congress has joined the opposition to the BMC move announced last week. The meeting is scheduled for 1 pm.
