Bokaro: The driver of a truck sustained injuries after his vehicle rammed another stationary truck on GT Road under Dumri police station limits of the district late Friday. The driver remained stuck in the mangled cabin after the collision for over 90 minutes before being rescued by locals and the police.“The driver was hospitalised with a leg injury. A probe is underway to examine whether adequate warning signs had been placed around the stranded truck and the circumstances that led to the collision,” Dumri deputy SP Abid Khan said on Saturday.The stationary truck was grounded after developing a fault while travelling to Patna from Kolkata and was parked on a side of the road before the second truck hit it from the rear.
