Kanpur: Kanpur received around 33.6 mm of rainfall in the past 24 hours, while intermittent light drizzle on Thursday evening brought relief from sultry weather.Rainfall lowered the maximum temperature by around 4°C to 30.6°C, 2.2°C below normal, while the minimum temperature fell to 24.4°C.Intermittent cloud cover and 90% relative humidity persisted despite brief periods of bright sunshine. North-easterly winds blowing at 11.2 kmph provided some relief from the humid conditions.Light drizzle began around 6pm and continued intermittently in the evening.CSA University weather expert SN Sunil Pandey said cloud movement over the next three days was likely to bring localised thunderstorms, strong winds and light to heavy rainfall across different parts of the city.
