The Marketing Assistant shall work under the Company’s strategic and creative direction and will be responsible for organizing marketing activities, maintaining schedules, coordinating external partners, preparing materials, and ensuring that approved initiatives are executed accurately and on time.
The services described below are illustrative and not exhaustive. The Marketing Assistant may also perform other reasonable marketing administration and coordination tasks consistent with the scope of the role. Specialist services requiring expertise beyond the Marketing Assistant’s direct capabilities, including paid advertising and technical development, shall be performed by external specialists as approved by the Company.
MARKETING ADMINISTRATION
- Maintain the Company’s marketing calendar and project timelines
- Schedule meetings, prepare agendas, and circulate follow-up notes
- Maintain task lists and track deliverables, approvals, and deadlines
- Organize marketing documents, reports, imagery, and creative assets
- Coordinate product information, pricing, credits, and supporting materials
- Prepare briefs and gather materials for approved marketing initiatives
- Maintain contact lists for agencies, vendors, retailers, press, and partners
- Coordinate invoices, budgets, estimates, and expense tracking
- Support special projects, events, retail initiatives, and partnerships as directed
- Conduct administrative research and compile information requested by the Company
DIGITAL AND CHANNEL COORDINATION
- Maintain the social media content calendar
- Coordinate the collection, organization, and delivery of social assets
- Prepare captions and content materials for Company review and approval
- Monitor social channels and direct relevant inquiries to the appropriate team member
- Coordinate approved email campaigns, including assets, copy, links, and deployment schedules
- Maintain email lists and assist with routine CRM administration
- Coordinate website and e-commerce updates with the appropriate internal or external teams
- Compile routine digital, e-commerce, email, and social media reports
- Maintain campaign trackers and organize performance information
- Coordinate with agencies, freelancers, photographers, editors, and other vendors
- Track sample requests, product loans, image requests, and associated deadlines
- Prepare and distribute approved retailer marketing materials and training collateral
- Support retailer activations and clienteling initiatives as directed by the Company
- Proofread marketing materials and verify that approved brand information is used consistently
- Upload, organize, and archive final assets across relevant platforms and folders
PERFORMANCE SCHEDULE
The Marketing Assistant shall perform the services according to timelines and priorities established by the Company. The Marketing Assistant shall provide regular status updates, promptly communicate delays or missing information, and maintain organized records of completed and outstanding deliverables.
COMPENSATION
Salary: $55,000-$60,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
TECHNICAL SKILLS & SOFTWARE
- Adobe Creative Suite – Working knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Acrobat for basic edits, asset preparation, and review.
- Figma – Working knowledge for reviewing, organizing, and making basic edits to layouts, presentations, digital assets, and marketing materials.
- PDF / Adobe Acrobat – Proficient in creating, editing, combining, compressing, commenting on, and preparing professional PDF documents.
- Microsoft Office / Google Workspace – Strong proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets, PowerPoint/Google Slides, Word/Google Docs, and shared calendars.
