PATNA: A Bihar police constable allegedly shot his sister dead with his service pistol before shooting himself in Patna’s Danapur area, officials said on Wednesday.City superintendent of police (West) Sanket Kumar said the incident might have been the fallout of frequent bickering within the family over the sister’s mental health challenges.“Danapur police station received information on Tuesday evening that two persons sustained bullet injuries. Upon reaching the spot, police found that the constable had fatally shot his sister and then killed himself inside his house,” the officer told news agency PTI.Police recovered the service revolver from the spot.The bodies were sent for post-mortem examination, the SP said.(With inputs from agency)
