Vadodara: Yash Bhalawala, a Barodian, has been appointed as the team manager of the Indian esports team participating at the 20th Asian Games Aichi-Nagoya 2026 that began in Japan on Sept 19.Bhalawala has previously served as team manager for the Indian Esports contingent at the Commonwealth Esports Championship 2022, Birmingham and at 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou, China, 2023 and will now once again take on the responsibility of supporting Indian esports athletes at the continental sporting stage.The ministry of youth affairs and sports has approved a 15-member Indian esports contingent for the games. Esports will feature prominently at Aichi-Nagoya, with the 2026 Asian Games hosting 11 esports medal events across 13 titles.
