Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas has advised Karamtara Engineering on its initial public offering aggregating to INR 875 crore. Trilegal and A&O Shearman acted as domestic and international legal counsel respectively to the book running lead managers on this issue.
JM Financial, ICICI Securities and IIFL Capital Services acted as book running lead managers to the offer.
The IPO comprised 34,448,817 equity shares, aggregating to INR 875 crore, including a fresh issue of 26,574,803 equity shares and an offer for sale of 7,874,014 equity shares by the selling shareholders.
Karamtara made its stock market debut with shares listing at a nearly 26 percent premium.
The company is a backward integrated manufacturer of products for renewable energy and transmission lines sectors and the largest integrated manufacturer in terms of installed capacity in India for solar mounting structures and tracker components in fiscal 2026.
The team was led by partner Anshul Roy, with the support from principal associate Radhika Pandey, Senior Associate Esha Gupta, and associates Arikta Shetty, Anomitra Debnath, Janhavi Deshmukh, Chinmay Jhumde, and Jahnavi Seethamraju. Senior partner Yash Ashar also provided guidance on this IPO.
