Pune: Students of Dhruv Global School, Nande, Pune, secured first positions in national-level classical dance competitions in Bharatanatyam and Odissi.Siddhika Jain won first place in the junior category of a national-level Indian classical Bharatanatyam competition held in Mumbai. Ahana Gupta also secured first position in the solo Bharatanatyam junior category at the 6th All India Cultural Olympiad Contest 2026, a statement issued by the school said.In Odissi, Mishika Chaturvedi won the first prize and the Best Performance Award at an All India National Classical Dance Competition.Sharini Kale secured first position in the Odissi junior category at the 6th All India Cultural Olympiad Contest and Festival 2026. The students trained under dance teachers Avdhoot Chavan and Subhashree Routray, said the release.The students’ achievements were attributed to their hard work and dedication, along with the guidance of their dance teachers Avdhoot Chavan and Subhashree Rautray.Dhruv Global School family congratulated the students, teachers and parents on the achievement, said the statement.
