KTU PhD entrance examination on September 19Thiruvananthapuram: The PhD entrance examination for full-time and part-time admissions to the 2026–27 academic year at APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University will be held on September 19.The examination will be conducted at 12 centres across eight districts—Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Kottayam, Ernakulam, Thrissur, Palakkad, Kozhikode and Kannur. A total of 827 candidates will appear for the examination, which covers 13 subjects in engineering and technology, management, architecture, basic sciences and mathematics.The centres are the LBS Institute of Technology for Women and Mar Baselios College of Engineering and Technology in Thiruvananthapuram; TKM College of Engineering in Kollam; Saintgits College of Engineering and Mangalam College of Engineering in Kottayam; and Rajagiri School of Engineering and Technology and KMEA Engineering College in Ernakulam.The other centres are Government Engineering College and Vidya Academy of Science and Technology in Thrissur, NSS College of Engineering in Palakkad, Government Engineering College in Kozhikode and Government College of Engineering, Kannur.Candidates should report by 10 a.m. and carry their hall ticket, valid photo ID and a copy. Electronic devices are prohibited.
