Shimla: Himachal Pradesh launched online registration for paddy procurement under the Kharif Marketing Season 2026-27 on Sept 15. Farmers can register themselves through the HP APP portal and conveniently book procurement tokens online.Director, food, civil supplies and consumer affairs, Kumud Singh, said procurement will begin on Oct 3 and continue till Dec 15 in 11 centres across Kangra, Solan, Una and Sirmaur districts. The minimum support price (MSP) for paddy has been fixed at Rs 2,461 per quintal, Rs 72 higher than last year.Farmers can also register through the farmer registry under AgriStack, enabling online retrieval of personal and land details without patwari verification. However, bank details will have to be entered by farmers themselves.
