Times News NetworkKanpur:Police arrested two men on Sunday after several rounds were allegedly fired outside an LLB student’s house in Makku Saeed Bhatta locality, under Jajmau police station in Kanpur.Sharafat Ali and Sonu were arrested with an illegal firearm and two live cartridges and later sent to jail. Two teams have been formed to arrest the remaining accused, ACP Cantt Priyanka Bajpayi said.Student Armaan lodged an FIR against Sharafat, Sonu, Rahul, Chhotu and three unidentified people. He alleged the accused are involved in selling narcotic substances.Armaan said the group reached his house around 11 pm on Saturday after he opposed their activities, abused him and fired one round before fleeing after threatening to kill him.The accused allegedly returned around 3 am and fired several rounds. He said the family informed police, who reached the spot and pacified residents.
