Lucknow: A heritage walk organised by ‘Aadaab Arz’ Lucknow social awareness group on Saturday took participants to the 150-year-old Imambada Mughal Sahiba in Wazirbagh, tracing its links with the history of Awadh.Participants learnt about the history of the Imambada, which was commissioned in 1876 by Fakhr-un-Nisa Begum, popularly known as Mughal Sahiba.The Imambada is known for its stucco work and houses what is described as the tallest pulpit in India. The walk also covered the monument’s architecture and its place in Lucknow’s heritage.The walk was coordinated by the group’s founder, Iffat Khan, and accompanied by Wali H. Rizvi, Saeeda Saira, Dinesh Arya, Ashish Tomar, Alok Roy, Zainab, Nida, Huda, Payal, Gudiya and Saurabh and others also took part in the heritage walk.
