Ahmedabad: The Centre for Creative Learning (CCL) at IIT Gandhinagar (IIT-Gn) on Friday launched a hands-on climate education programme that will cover 1,000 schools across Gujarat. Under the initiative, students from municipal schools in Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, Surat and Aravalli will build their own weather instruments as part of a state govt collaboration aligned with Mission LiFE (Lifestyle for Environment), officials said.As part of the programme, specially designed kits have been developed to support climate learning activities. In upcoming sessions, students will use the kits to identify commonly used items that contribute to pollution and explore environmentally friendly alternatives.
