Doda, Sept 12 : Security forces on Saturday recovered the decomposed remains of a suspected Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) terrorist along with an M4 rifle in the Divshetar area of Seoj Dhar in Doda district, officials said.
A senior police officer told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that locals reported the sighting of a suspected decomposed body along with an M4 rifle in the general area of Divshetar on Saturday.
“Security forces have reached the area and are conducting further investigation to ascertain the identity of the deceased and establish other relevant details,” the officer said.
Meanwhile, J&K Police, in a post on X, said that SOG Doda, Rashtriya Rifles (RR) and CRPF retrieved the remains of a Pakistani Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorist who had been neutralised earlier in a joint operation.
“You Can Run But You Can’t Hide!” the police said, adding that a night-enabled M4 rifle was also recovered.—(KNO)
