Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission has invited applications for 1,936 Assistant Professor posts in non-government aided co-educational and women’s colleges across the state. The online application process began on September 8, 2026.
Commission chairman Prashant Kumar said a One-Time Registration (OTR) system has been introduced to facilitate applications. Candidates must complete their OTR before applying and meet the prescribed educational qualifications and eligibility criteria.
The detailed recruitment advertisement and instruction booklet are available on the commission’s official website. Candidates have been advised to read them carefully before applying.
According to commission deputy secretary Sanjay Kumar Singh, the last date to deposit the online application fee is October 7, 2026, while corrections can be made until October 11.
The written examination is scheduled for November 19 and 20, 2026. Details regarding the examination schedule, centres and other instructions will be released on the commission’s website. TNN
