Ramgarh: A police team constituted by the district headquarters arrested two alleged drug peddlers and seized 16.83 grams of brown sugar, along with a car reportedly used for smuggling.Ramgarh SP Mukesh Kumar Lunayat said on Tuesday the action followed a tip-off about drug smuggling. The accused, identified as Akhil Ansari (30) of Gate No. 2, NTS Barkakana in Ramgarh district, and Deepak Bedia (30) of Ghutuwa, both under Patratu (Barkakana) police station, were sent to judicial custody after a case was registered at Patratu (Bhurjunda) police station, police officials said. The seized vehicle is being examined.
