Ahmedabad: A total of 258 students from Gandhinagar campus of National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) received their degrees at a combined convocation ceremony held on Monday. According to NIFT Gandhinagar officials, Ashish Mishra, a Master of Design (M.Des) student, was awarded the gold medal for academic excellence during the ceremony. President of India Droupadi Murmu was the chief guest at the combined convocation ceremony of 18 NIFT campuses across the country. Addressing the graduating students, Murmu urged them to maintain a global outlook while remaining firmly connected to their roots and the core values of Indian culture.
