New Delhi: The Delhi–Ghaziabad–Meerut Namo Bharat corridor recorded its highest-ever daily ridership of around 1.7 lakh passengers Friday, surpassing the previous day’s record of 1.6 lakh passengers.“The corridor recorded its highest-ever daily ridership Friday on the day of Raksha Bandhan. Namo Bharat trains have maintained consistent performance even during peak demand, extreme heat, monsoon conditions and festive periods such as Kanwar Yatra and Diwali,” said an official of National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) which implements the Namo Bharat project.
