Nagpur: A 19-year-old youth allegedly stabbed his elder brother to death at their house in Kalmana on Wednesday evening following a heated argument over money for liquor, police said.Mohan Bante (21) was killed in an attack by his younger brother Sameer at their Mini Mata Nagar residence. Police said Mohan was unemployed and a habitual drinker. He frequently demanded money from his parents. When refused, Mohan abused them.Mohan’s mother Kumaribai (50) returned from work around 6pm to find him in an intoxicated state. Mohan abused her, demanded money and started throwing household items around. Mohan also abused Sameer and tried to assault him.An angry Sameer fetched a knife and stabbed Mohan multiple times. Relatives rushed Mohan to Mayo Hospital, where he was later declared dead. A murder case was registered against Sameer at Kalamna police station. He was arrested on Thursday.
