Yamunanagar: Senior advocate Sunish Bindlish, who has roots in Yamunanagar, has been appointed an additional judge of the Punjab and Haryana high court. The Union govt issued the notification for his appointment on Aug 20. The Bindlish family has had a longstanding presence in Yamunanagar’s social and business circles.Continuing the family’s legal legacy, Sunish Bindlish built a prominent practice at the Punjab and Haryana high court. He has served as senior standing counsel for GST and also practised as a senior advocate in the high court. His name has been associated with several important constitutional, taxation and other significant matters. Although Chandigarh became the centre of his professional career, Bindlish has retained a strong emotional connection with Yamunanagar.
