Bhubaneswar: Monsoon session of Odisha legislative assembly is scheduled to begin on Sept 22 and continue till Oct 3, with nine working days. According to the provisional calendar of sittings for the proposed seventh session of the 17th Odisha legislative assembly, the session will include one holiday and two no-meeting days. Assembly secretary Satyabrata Rout has written to principal secretary of parliamentary affairs department, requesting steps to move Governor for summoning the session if govt agrees to the proposed commencement date.
