Chandigarh: B L Santosh, the BJP national general secretary (organisation), on Tuesday accused the Aam Aadmi Party govt of “ruining Punjab in every sphere”. He also hit out at the Congress, saying the party failed to perform the role of an effective opposition.“Instead of carrying out development, the AAP govt further worsened the situation concerning drugs and law and order in the state. The Congress also failed to play the role of an effective opposition. Therefore, the BJP has to become the support of the people of Punjab and raise their voice,” he said during a meeting with the BJP functionaries and workers of the Jalandhar zone.Santosh also called upon party functionaries and workers to participate in maximum numbers in the programmes being organised under the ‘Samrasta Sankalp Abhiyan’ to mark the 650th birth anniversary of Guru Ravidas.Punjab BJP president Kewal Singh Dhillon and other senior functionaries were also present.
