Times News NetworkKanpur: The Uttar Pradesh Cricket Association (UPCA) on Friday launched online tickets for the second leg of the prestigious UP T20 League, which will be held at the Green Park Stadium from August 28 to September 6.The cheapest ticket, priced at Rs 49, has been kept for girls and will be sold offline. Prices of other tickets range from Rs 99 to Rs 349. Sanjay Kapoor, chairman of the UP T20 League governing body, told mediapersons that online ticket booking would begin from Friday evening, while tickets would also be available at the box office from Saturday.Kapoor said several surprises had been planned for cricket lovers during the Kanpur leg. Around 100 ticket holders would receive special prizes every day through a lucky draw. A grand finale draw would also be organised on the final day, with winners receiving bigger prizes.He said special prizes would also be given to spectators sitting in different stands for acts of bravery or other notable deeds. Details of these prizes would be announced soon.Kapoor said Kanpur leg would be particularly significant as it would be the last series at Green Park before its proposed renovation. He appealed to cricket lovers to turn up at Green Park from August 28 to September 6 and enjoy the matches.
