Mangaluru: Based on a complaint received through the QR Code on food safety launched by health minister UT Khader, officials conducted a raid on a restaurant on Falnir road in the city on Friday.Dr Praveen Kumar, designated officer of the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) in Dakshina Kannada, stated that the raid was conducted after receiving a complaint. During the raid, officials noticed a lack of hygiene at the restaurant. The team also found food allegedly adulterated with colour, and samples will be sent for lab analysis. The officer said action will be taken based on the lab report.
