Kolkata: Three armed robbers allegedly entered a businessman’s office on Cotton Street in the Posta area on Wednesday evening and fled after looting Rs 1.3 crore. According to sources, the accused had information of a large amount of cash being present in the office. “The accused did not wear masks. They allegedly came on bikes, but we are checking all claims,” said an officer.The accused went up to first floor where three employees were present. It is alleged that the accused threatened the employees with a knife, forcing them to hand over the money. After they left, the office workers informed cops. A team from Posta Police Station and DD officers secured the crime scene. Cops are examining CCTV footage. “We believe there might be an insider angle,” an officer said.
