Hyderabad: The internal conflict within Telangana BJP has reached a boiling point, particularly in the politically charged district of Huzurabad. The rivalry between MPs Eatala Rajender and Bandi Sanjay has intensified, drawing the attention of not just local political observers and citizens, but also BJP top brass in Delhi. Rival parties have now jumped in, with BRS local MLA Padi Kaushik Reddy launching a scathing attack on his political adversary, Eatala Rajender, on Tuesday. Reddy accused Rajender of deceiving both, BRS president K Chandrasekhar Rao when he was the chief minister, and the people of Huzurabad, while still being aligned with the ideology of the pink party. Reddy claimed that the truth about Rajender’s intentions will soon come to light, warning that his past actions raise questions about his loyalty to the BJP. He pointed out that during Rajender’s tenure with the BRS, he was extended invitations to numerous official events, but he “chose to snub them out of arrogance”. Reddy said it is wrong of Rajender to now complain about not receiving invitations to events that he previously shunned. Reddy asked Rajender to clarify whether his name was mentioned on foundation stones of development projects in Huzurabad during his time as MLA. “If his name is absent, Rajender must resign from his position as MP,” said Reddy. The BRS MLA also warned that his group will not stay silent in response to perceived reckless statements by opponents. Kauhisk Reddy has now found himself in the middle of the dispute between BJP MPs. Rajender’s supporters alleged that Reddy had received an invitation from Bandi Sanjay during a recent bike distribution programme in Huzurabad.
