Ganderbal, Aug 15: Rising Kashmir’s Ganderbal correspondent Umar Raina was honoured by the District Administration Ganderbal and the Sub-Divisional Administration Kangan on the occasion of Independence Day in recognition of his contribution to journalism and public-interest reporting.
The recognition was presented as part of the Independence Day celebrations, acknowledging his professional work and commitment to reporting issues concerning the people and administration of the district.
Raina, who has been associated with Rising Kashmir as Senior Special Reporter, expressed gratitude to both administrations for the honour, saying such recognition encourages journalists to continue their work with greater responsibility and dedication.
