Sézane fans in Los Angeles have been understandably unsure about how to shop the brand IRL. In 2018, there was a pop-up at The Grove, another temporary space at Platform in Culver City in 2022, a more permanent store at Brentwood Country Mart in 2023 and another pop-up at The Grove in 2025. The pop-ups were open for about four-to-five months (longer than expected due to success, per the brand), and Brentwood closed in January 2026 for renovations. For the last seven months, there hasn’t been a Sézane store in Los Angeles. That ends now.
On Aug. 14, Sézane’s Brentwood Country Mart store, at 225 26th St. in Santa Monica, CA, officially reopened — permanently. That’s the good news. The possibly unfortunate news for Sézane’s biggest fans is that the store is smaller and more curated than its original — a “petit boutique,” as the brand calls it. The design is reimagined with a vintage apartment feel: glossy bordeaux lacquer, striped upholstery and antique mirroring that create a cozy, welcoming atmosphere.

Inside are the French fashion brand’s top sellers across all categories (clothes, accessories, shoes, bags and home goods), plus big changing rooms and a cozy ottoman for admiring your purchases. Of course, there’s still the iconic wall of knits ($100-$230) with cardigans, jumpers, pullovers and more. Tees emblazoned with “Paris <3 Los Angeles” are exclusive to the store.
The new store coincides with a bit of a relaunch for the brand. The Sézane website makes it clear that a “new chapter” is coming on Aug. 23, previewing silk scarves ($85) and cotton totes ($100). In an interview with Vogue Business, Founder Morgane Sézalory explained that the direction will be bolder and more structured, made with higher-quality, organic materials. The brand will also roll out new items at a slower cadence with a focus on the core products it does best instead of chasing trends.
Many of those new items are already in the Brentwood store, and the collection does feel like a more grown-up Sézane. We spotted a standout green funnel-neck leather jacket ($650) and tons of rich suede and soft textures throughout the clothes and bags.
This store isn’t the only new retail concept Sézane has up its sleeve. After debuting in Newport Beach, CA in May, “En Route,” its mobile Airstream shop, will travel to more locations. Made to feel a bit like a Parisian vintage market, it features a curated edit of Sézane designs, plus exclusive items. “Every piece we create, and now this Airstream, is designed to carry a little of the city we love and bring it closer to you,” Sézalory said in a statement. After two stops in L.A., it’ll head to San Diego and then Texas.
