Origin Story
Sincerely Yours was born from a deeply personal problem. Co-Founder Salish Matter struggled with sensitive, reactive skin but found herself caught between harsh acne products and trendy skin care that wasn’t designed for developing skin. When she began sharing her experiences online, thousands of teens revealed they were facing the same frustrations.
Recognizing that an entire generation was being overlooked, Salish teamed up with her father, creator Jordan Matter, beauty industry veteran Julia Straus, leading dermatologists, pediatric dermatology experts and cosmetic chemists to build a different kind of skin-care brand. Together, they set out to create products that were clinically credible enough for parents to trust and emotionally relevant enough for teens to genuinely love using.
From the beginning, Sincerely Yours was built alongside its community. More than 60,000 teens contributed feedback throughout development, while a dedicated Teen Advisory Board helped shape everything from product concepts to packaging. Every formula is dermatologist-developed, clinically tested and created specifically for developing skin.
The result is a new model for teen beauty: science-backed skin care that empowers confidence by listening to the very generation it was designed to serve.
