Jaipur: The state govt has extended incentives under the Rajasthan ODOP Policy-2024 to processing units linked with district-specific crops and plant species identified under the Panch Gaurav programme.Units associated with “One District One Produce” and “One District One Plant Species” will now qualify for benefits. For example, honey and Kadamba units in Bharatpur, onion and Arjuna units in Alwar, and Amla and Lisoda units in Jaipur will be eligible alongside existing ODOP sectors such as gems and jewellery.Officials said the move will promote value addition, boost entrepreneurship, and generate investment and jobs, while improving market access for farmers.The ODOP Policy-2024 has been periodically amended to widen its scope. Recent changes include margin money subsidy of up to Rs 20 lakh for enterprise expansion, Rs 5 lakh subsidy for technology upgrades, and digitisation of application and approval processes.
