Kanpur: Two kanwariyas from Mahoba died in a road accident in Chhatarpur, Madhya Pradesh, on Sunday night while travelling to Jatashankar Dham to perform ‘Jalabhishek’.The two were carrying water from Bhimkund when a speeding truck hit their motorcycle near Garhi Malhara on the Kanpur-Sagar Highway. One kanwariya died on the spot, while the other succumbed to his injuries while being taken to hospital.The deceased were identified as Kaushalesh Pathak (15) and Rohit Sulleray (35), residents of Umrai village in Mahoba district.Police said both had set out on a motorcycle carrying water from Bhimkund for ‘Jalabhishek’ at Jatashankar Dham in Chhatarpur district. Their bodies have been sent for postmortem.
