Thiruvananthapuram: One more accused has been arrested in the case relating to the attack on an Enforcement Directorate (ED) vehicle at the Thiruvananthapuram residence of leader of the opposition Pinarayi Vijayan on May 27. The arrested has been identified as Adarsh, the 27th accused in the case, who had allegedly fled abroad after the incident.Adarsh, an SFI activist, was detained by the airport authorities and police on his arrival at Chennai International Airport on Monday morning. Police had earlier issued a lookout notice against him after he left the country in the wake of the incident. Adarsh was intercepted following surveillance initiated on the basis of the lookout notice, and his arrest was subsequently recorded at Chennai.A special team from Museum police station has left for Chennai to take the accused into custody and bring him to Thiruvananthapuram. Police have also intensified the search for the remaining accused in the case.
