Ahmedabad: A 22-year-old woman filed a complaint of rape against her ex-fiance with Sola police on Sunday, days after he broke off the engagement with her, said police.According to the FIR, the woman got engaged in 2024 to a 27-year-old man from Chanakyapuri. After their engagement, they allegedly had sexual relations.She said that as the man was supposed to marry her, she agreed to his ‘demand for sexual relationship’.Last month, he allegedly declared to her that he would not marry her and snapped all ties.She said she decided to approach police after even his family did not intervene.
