Keonjhar: Police here raided and arrested two people in Joda police station area for ganja trafficking. They were identified as Jogen Pradhan (59) of Hanuman Hutting, Joda and Dulal Chandra Sarkar (55) of West Bengal.Police said on Saturday afternoon, a patrolling team from Joda police station, received a tip-off about ganja trafficking and then raided Lahanda village. The two accused were arrested during the search, a total of 10.18 gms of ganja worth Rs 1 lakh was seized from their possession, police said.Police also seized a mobile phone and Rs 1,500 in cash from them. After investigation on Sunday, police forwarded them to court under the relevant NDPS sections. After their bail was rejected, they were sent to judicial custody. “We are also investigating sources of ganja and others involved in this organised racket,” said Prashant Kumar Samal, IIC Joda police station.
