The case includes charges of negligence, unauthorised entry into a wildlife area and endangering students’ lives. The two operators have been arrested, while the four teachers have been named in the FIR.“I have directed that action be taken against everyone,” Sawant said.Goa Forest Development Corporation (GFDC) chairperson Deviya Rane said govt could not be blamed for the tragedy.“The group went in without taking a ticket to enter the waterfall which is part of the wildlife sanctuary. GFDC does not manage the waterfall. I urge everyone to be responsible. Do not enter the forest area like this without informing the authorities.
