Gandhinagar: Chief minister Bhupendra Patel will lead a delegation of state govt officials and industry leaders to the US and Canada from Aug 16 to 26 on the first overseas tour of the forthcoming Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit (VGGS).Govt sources said the CM will be accompanied by chief secretary Manoj Das, ACS finance T Natarajan, PS in the CMO Sanjeev Kumar and industry leaders. A few other officers from the state administration are also expected to be part of the delegation.Sources said presentations and one-to-one meetings with top business leaders of new-age industries like semiconductors, fintech, and the like have been arranged during the CM’s VGGS promotion tour of the US and Canada.Over the next month or two, delegations of ministers, officers, and business representatives will visit countries in Europe, South Asia, the Middle East, Japan, South Korea, and other countries.
