HYDERABAD: Secunderabad Cantonment MLA N Sriganesh has approached the OU police alleging that nearly 30 unidentified persons intercepted his car and tried to attack him. The reported incident took place near RTC hospital, when the MLA was travelling in his car. He claimed that the attackers even tried to snatch his gunman’s weapon.The MLA said when he was travelling in his car to participate in Bonalu festival unknown persons came from both sides and asked him to stop the vehicle. When his driver refused to stop and continued to drive, the unidentified persons started banging his car. When the gunman tried to intervene, the attackers allegedly tried to snatch his weapon. He claimed he escaped from the spot, reached the OU police station and lodged a complaint.Police were in the process to register a case and ascertain facts.
