Maneck N. Mulla, founder and managing partner of M Mulla Associates; Ameet B. Naik, founder and managing partner of Naik Naik & Co.; and Neil Mandevia, founder of Law Scribes – have come together to launch MNM Partners.
MNM Partners is structured as an equal partnership, combining the respective domain expertise of founders with a collaborative approach to deliver integrated legal solutions for corporates, developers, investors, family offices, financial institutions and high-net-worth individuals, both in India and internationally.
Maneck N. Mulla began his career with Mulla & Mulla & Craigie Blunt & Caroe, before becoming a partner at Wakharia & Wakharia Advocates & Solicitors (affiliated with Kelley Drye & Warren LLP, New York). He later founded M Mulla Associate. Mulla also serves on the (India) Country Focus Group of the International Cotton Association, Liverpool, an arbitral body governing 80 percent of the global cotton trade.
Ameet B. Naik founded Naik Naik & Co. in 2004. Naik regularly represents clients in domestic and international courts, on a wide range of high stakes and complex disputes.
Neil Mandevia has established a specialised boutique practice recognised for its real-estate-centric expertise in high-value conveyancing, development transactions, and strategic real estate litigation. He regularly advises real estate developers, businesses including Pan-India retail giants and investors across the full lifecycle of complex real estate and infrastructure projects.
Through MNM Partners, they now bring their collective strengths together to create a unique strategic alliance, while continuing to lead their existing firms independently.
Notably, ‘Anand and Naik’, a joint venture between ‘Naik Naik & Co.’ and ‘Anand and Anand’, for Media & Entertainment and IP Practice in Mumbai, that has been successfully operating since 2021, will continue independent of this strategic alliance.
In a joint statement, the founders said, “This is a strategic coming together of three established practices with a forward-looking outlook and the potential to evolve into a larger, multidisciplinary institution in the years ahead.”
They further added, “Each of us has spent over two decades building a practice we are proud of. This is not about starting over. It is about combining what we have built, because we believe the mandates our clients bring to us deserve more than one perspective, one practice area, or one set of relationships. For the clients we serve, this alliance means access to decades of trusted expertise – now available as one.”
The formation of MNM Partners was advised on and facilitated by Legal League Consulting through its founder & managing director, Bithika Anand, and CEO, Nipun K Bhatiaa.
